Pete Namlook is Peter Kuhlmann (try reading the name Namlook backwards!).
In fact, Namlook originally started playing jazz music, as listening
to his first band Romantic Warrior will tell you. After a few releases
on 12'' his first ambient CD, 'Silence', came out in 1993. Since that
moment a lot of new compositions appear on Namlook's own Fax label.
Namlook regularly works with other musicians: Klaus Schulze, Bill Laswell,
Wolfram Spyra, Peter Prochir, Richie Hawtin, David Moufang, Geir Jenssen
and many more. Namlook has given his own expression to ambient music.
