Chris Meloche is from Canada and creates 'Ambient-Environmental-Electro-Acoustic' music in the broadest sence. 'Loop 6' (a.k.a. 'Recurring Dreams Of The Urban Myth') was originally a 6-hour long piece designed for overnight radio broadcast. It was premiered in May 1994 on CHRW-FM, London, Ontario, Canada. A condensed version of the piece was released on the FAX +49-69/450464 label out of Frankfurt, Germany in 1994 in an edition of 1,000 copies. At the present time, Meloche is in the process of preparing tracks for a 20-year retrospective CD which is to be issued in the UK. Other current activities include a commissioned work for BBC Radio, environmental audio works featured on the Resonance Radio (London, England) broadcast series 'Out Of The Blue' and sound-design for a new installation project by Canadian artist Jamelie Hassan.
