Last Year he was voted as most promising newcomer after his huge hit 'Virtuous Woman' rocketed to number one on almost every reggae-chart worldwide. It took a year to complete the album, but it was worth the wait. Warrior King is a conscious sing-jay, whose style is so recognizable, that I didn't think he could top the novelty effect of his single. The follow-ups, 'Breath Of Fresh Air' and 'Education Is The Key' were (although good songs) not of the same calibre as 'Virtuous Woman', but the man CAN fill an entire album. A couple of style & pattern changes and some hip hop beats make this a versatile roots album, that will be one of the better debuts of this year.
