Now, this one is very different! Throughout the history of Jamaican music, nobody was ever afraid to experiment with sound. Any new musical gimmick was used to create the wickedest sounds for in the dance. Nobody uses their studio mixing desk like the dubmasters. Who else than a Jamaican would take a pre-set casio bossanova tune and turn it into the first computerised ragga song (SlengTeng). Who would use a moog synthesiser too spice up rocksteady and reggae riddims? The Vulcans would! The Vulcans are really Ken Elliott on moog and Trevor Starr on guitar and together they provide the weirdest spacey overdubs youŽll ever hear. Recorded at King Tubbys in the early seventies, it concentrades mostly on Bunny Lee and Harry J riddims. Song titles as 'Dr. Spock', 'Moog In Bed' and 'Dracula' and science fiction artwork make the experience complete, come join The Vulcans on their journey into space.
