Upon arriving in Shanghai, two sisters are coerced into a corrupt environment in the poorest part of the city. A neighbor tries to help them escape from the dregs of society. This classic film was loosely based on Frank Borzage's silent classic 'Seventh Heaven'.
This dvd also includes the film 'Twin Sisters' (1933).
