Redman - Red Gone Wild
Releasedatum: 30 maart 2007
The Funk Doc is back with one of his illest releases in years! After waiting a very long time for this release it still was gonna be a big surprise what 'Red gone wild; Thee album' would sound like. Knowing the fact that Reggie Noble will drop the follow up to 'Muddy Waters' this summer (simply called 'Muddy Waters 2'), it didn't seem a good perspective for 'Red gone wild'. But the man from Brick City surpises every Hip Hop fan on the planet with an album that fits inbetween all his classic albums, full of dope beats and lyrics like only Red can spit.
A good Redman album has some standard ingredients, so check the The Soopaman Luva and the 'Stick Up Skit' as well as the colourful cover. Of course lots of Ganjatalk and top guestappearances of Method Man, Erick Sermon and Keith Murray.
Standouts??? The Timbaland production 'Put it down' is a 100% clubbanger, 'Freestyle freestyle' gives you the real Redmanvibe and for some Def Squad skip to 'Walk in gutta'. Red gets two thumbs up for this quality album, don't call it a comeback!
