A mild-mannered accountant is increasingly annoyed that someone is drinking from the milk bottles which are delivered to his door. His bored wife tries not to get caught up in this seemingly trivial incident. However, when he finally catches the culprit, he kills him in murderous rage. Both man and wife dispose of the body and attempt to cover up the crime. Set in the 1950s, Mark Reichert’s noirish thriller Union City is based on the story by Cornell Woolrich.
