This CD features 17 rare tracks out of Niney The Observer's catalogue. As the subtitle suggests most of these tunes are either instrumentals, dub versions or even dubs of instrumental records. Niney rhythms like 'Westbound Train', 'Wolf and Leopard', 'Here I come Again' (all Dennis Brown), 'Satta' and 'Blood & Fire' are done in a different style. Although he gets no credit it must be Tubbys at the mixing desk, since his dubs are so recognizable. Featured instrumentalist are great musicians like Tommy McCook, Bobby Ellis, Ansel Collins and Bongo Herman. Even Jah Bottlehead, famous for blowing songs on beer bottles, is featured. Although, since it's a dub version of one of his outings, you can only hear a couple of snatches from his tune. Dillinger's deejay version of Junior Byles' Upsetter production 'King Of Babylon' is the icing on the cake.
