Martin Scorsese's award-winning biopic of Howard Hughes. Inheriting his father's tool manufacturing company's millions Hughes (Leonardo DiCaprio) sets out to build a successful career from his two great passions - film-making and aviation. After completing his first film masterpiece, Hell's Angels (1930), he begins a quest to build the fastest and biggest aeroplanes of all time. Along the way he also experiences high profile relationships with screen legends and beauties, Katherine Hepburn (Cate Blanchett) and Ava Gardener (Kate Beckinsale). Hughes' compelling story is one filled with glamour, ambition, obsession and a personal battle against his phobias and obsessive-compulsive behaviour.
