In Jamaica he did not have a big hit as yet. That's why Turbulence still stands in the shadow of his mentor Sizzla, but with this album he proves that he earns his own spot in the sun. Turbulence influenced Sizzla in the 'high-pitch singing combined with ruff chatting'-style. In his singing he is certainly better that Kalonji, Turbulence has a reach that leaves Sizzla out in the cold. This new album features Turbulence both as a singer and as a DJ over a mix of mostly roots reggae, some dancehall and a occasional hiphop beat. It is produced by Brittish sound men Love Injection, who used musicians like Sly & Robby and recorded in the Mixing Lab studios in Kingston, JA. Nice stuff and definitely another step towards stardom.
