Although this is a brand new recording, we decided to put it in the 'oldies' category, because the riddims used were originally recorded in the 60s. Bitty Mclean is mostly known for his pophit 'It Keeps Raining' from around a decade ago. For this project the singer teamed up with Duke and Chris Peckings, sons of the legendary Peckings, the man that set up the first UK reggae shop back in the 60s and introduced Studio 1 and Treasure Isle to the British public. This album features new songs on some classic Treasure Isle riddims and it's produced so nicely, that you sometimes wonder whether a particular riddim wasn't made specially for the song, while in reality it is vice versa! Bitty even transforms some soul classics like 'Walk Away From Love', 'Make It With you' and 'Cruising' into sweet rocksteady. All in all it makes a timeless classic for soul and reggae lovers alike.
