Sizzla’s zilionst album finds him back at the Xterminator camp, and that is not a bad thing. Lyrical wise Kalonji is in a preaching mood, the are no slack songs on this one. Musically it’s a mix of reggae, dancehall and some hip hop beats; amongst the musicians there are people like Sly Dunbar, Fire House Crew, Lenky and Chinna Smith. The greatest novelty of this album, however, is the first cover version Sizzla ever recorded: Bob Dylan’s ‘Subterranean Homesick Blues’ gets the Sizzla treatment. This song is the only non-Xterminator song on the album. It was produced by RAS’ Doctor Dread and is a prequel to the forthcoming Bob Dylan reggae covers project that will be released later this year.
