Re-release of a classic album. Hugh Mundell is one of reggae’s many legendary singers. Rising to the top when he was still a teenager, he found his international acclaim with the help of Augustus Pablo. After the release of the classic ‘Africa Must Be Free’ album, Mundell recorded for several others including Jammy’s and Junjo. This set was recorded in 1983 and produced by himself, I can’t remember for sure (it ‘s a long time ago) but I think this one was released after his death the same year. The fact that it features several dub versions to complete the album sure points in that direction.
