This young man started out in the London soundsystem scene as a cheap way to get popular dubplate specials. Because Antonio sounds remarkably like Sanchez, his first recording where cover versions of Sanchez’ hits, recorded as specials for English and European soundsystems. Last year he signed with Jet Star Records and after quite a few good single releases, this is his debut album. The music is cool and easy as are all Cave productions and Antonio brings a mix of lovers and reality lyrics, both cover versions and originals (the comparison with Sanchez goes on) delivered in a fine style. The album contains the dancehall hits ‘So Many Signs’, ‘What’s Going On’, ‘Good Old Days’ and his first and foremost hitsong ‘Your Love Is My Love’, made popular by Witney Houston
