The charismas season has begun with the first volume of one of those album series. The Jet Star Reggae Hits First volume came out in the eighties and now, more than fifteen years later it is still very influential. The 32nd Reggae Hits contains the well-proved recipe, some of the biggest hits of the moment, mixed with brand new tunes that will be hits this season. Also there is a well-balanced mix of ragga, roots and lovers to show-off the whole spectrum of reggae music. Some of the biggest tunes are the dance songs 'Blasé' by Elephantman and 'Chop The Grass' by Mr Vegas. Luciano & Rasites's 'Leaders' and Sizzla's 'Blessing' are two conscious hits. The lovers sections features Beres Hammond's 'Live My Life' and Morgan Heritage's 'Man In Love'. New Artists Lee Francis interprets Kevin Lyttle's 'Turn Me On', and Queen Omega counteracts 50 Cent with '22 Questions'. Other artists include the pop stars Wyclef Jean and Sean Paul and household ghetto deejays Bountykiller, Capleton, Beenieman and Vybz Kartel. Amongst the singers there are the Jamaicans Sanchez, JC Lodge, Leroy Smart, From the USA it's LMS and from the UK come Don Campbell, Lloyd Brown, Don Ricardo and Peter Hunnigale. The album comes with a bonus cd thes features the sames songs, this time in a lively mix by 1xtra's Seani B.
