The legendary Swiss oboist, composer and conductor Heinz Holliger continues his recordings of the Schubert symphonies with the Basel Chamber Orchestra. "The finale was gorgeous." 5 stars in FONOFORUM; and the most important English trade magazine, Gramophone, wrote: "lucky Schubert - and lucky us... one of the finest recordings!".on the new, third album the Basel Chamber Orchestra presents Schubert's Symphonies 4 and 6 under Holliger. as usual, the orchestra plays historically informed, but for the most part with modern instruments.
