General Degree dropped his rank a while back and is nowadays known simply as Degree. ‘Yeah Man’ is his sixth album and, as you might expect, consists mainly of gallist lyrics on hardcore riddims. An even mix between singles and album exclusives, it features Degree’s hits ‘My Girls’, ‘Ooh Yeahee’, ‘You Hear Dat’ en ‘Yeah Man’. ‘Spotlight’ rides the very hot ‘Liquid’ riddim, while ‘More Money’ is one of his rare reality outings on the classic ‘Rockfort Rock’ riddims, revitalized by Richie Stephens in a producers role. Besides him there are people like Jeremy Harding, Richie Browne, Sly Dunbar, King Jammy and the illusterious Snapple Dapple(Degree himself) involved in producing this plate. Three combinations with Crissy D shift more in a commercial direction. His combination with German singer Tolga is pure dancehall as are most of the other album exclusives.
