The dancehall mix album sure is the in thing now, many many mix CDs come to us from all directions, Yard, the UK and the US. This one, courtesy of Platinum Distribution out of Kingston, JA, is a high flyer amongst the huge flock. After starting off with the wicked ‘Bounce’ riddim it moves to ‘Tixx’, ‘’Wild Joker’ and a whole heap of riddims which I can’t name by heart at this moment but they feature the hits like Capleton’s ‘Hands Up’, Bountykillers ‘Proceed’ (‘Black Ice’), Elephantman’s ‘ Start A War’, TOK’s ‘Chichi Man’. 46 hardcore dancehall tunes and, thanks to it being a Jamaican mix rather than a US one, it contains a lot of new forty-fives that haven’t been featured yet on other CDs.
