More than four centuries after Coronado's thousand-man division vanished without a trace while searching for the legendary city of gold, the long dormant curse resurfaces when an archeological expedition to the Baja peninsula awakens a skeletal army of Coronado's conquistadors. The year was 1590, and Coronado was certain he know the location of El Dorado. After dispatching a thousand men to confirm his suspicions and never hearing from them again, the Spanish explorer resigned himself to the fact that his boldest excursion was a failure. Flash forward to the present day, as a college professor and his students are exploring a network of caves in the Baja peninsula. Little did the adventurers realise that an immortal curse had once befallen these picturesque waters, though by the time the dead begin to rise it's far too late to say your prayers.
