Travelling between the Mediterranean and the mountains of Savoy, Succo left a trail of inexplicable murders, rapes and abductions which the police investigators struggled to connect. Cedric Kahn's gripping dramatisation of true events gives a terrifying insight into the disturbed mind of a serial killer and also follows the desperate attempts by the police to hunt him down. Stefano Cassetti gives a riveting, extraordinarily intense performance as the psychotic Succo, who was declared France's public enemy number one.
