Directed by Antonio Margheriti, (a.k.a Anthony Dawson), Cannibal Apocalypse (a.k.a. Apocalypse Domani) is a former banned Video Nasty title. On his return from the Vietnam War, an American officer (John Saxon) and native of Georgia discovers that he has contracted, as have all the men in his unit, a monstrous disease which turns its victims into cannibals. He tries with all his might to resist joining his friends who are already terrorising the city of Atlanta, but will the lure of human flesh be too much?
