'Plaster Caster' traces the remarkable career of renowned artist and super-groupie Cynthia Plaster Caster, (in)famous for casting rock stars' penises. Long thought to be a myth, the orginal Plaster Caster of Chicago tells her incredible story, from meeting her mentor Frank Zappa to her notorious encounters with Led Zeppelin, KISS, and Jimi Hendrix! Sharing their experiences with Cynthia are some of her most notable friends and 'castees', including the late Noel Redding (The Jimi Hendrix Experience), Eric Burdon (The Animals), Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys), Paul Barker (Ministry), Mark Arm (Mudhoney), Suzi Gardner (L7), Jeff Tweedy (Wilco), Pete Shelley (Buzzcocks), Wayne Kramer (MC5), 'uber-groupies' Pamela Des Barres (I'm With The Band) and Miss Mercy (GTOs), writer Camille Paglia and artist Ed Paschke.
